Runaway

Though it never appeared on an album, the Traveling Wilburys' take on the Del Shannon classic Runaway was an excellent tribute to a man rumored to be the next Wilbury, until his untimely death in February 1990.

Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty contributed to Del Shannon's comeback album, Rock On!, and later paid a tribute to their friend during the Volume Three sessions. It featured Jeff on vocals and Bob Dylan's familiar harmonica over the instrumental break in the middle of the song.

Originally planned as the final track on Volume Three, it later appeared as a bonus with the She's My Baby single, issued in November 1990. A demo version also exists as a bootleg.

Unreleased Traveling Wilburys Songs

Concert for George Limited Edition Book

The limited edition book Concert for George launched in the U.S. March 15, 2005 at the Beverly Hills bookstore Taschen.

Olivia Harrison was there to sign books, and was supported by her son Dhani and such luminaries as Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach, Jeff Lynne, Mike Campbell and Spencer Davis.

Genesis Publications describes the book as one that follows the "...story from the rehearsals, the soundchecks, to the stage and beyond. It's told in 34,000 words from the mouths of those who were there, and who knew George. Most of the 450 photographs have never before been seen and include images of George throughout his life".
