The holes for the top fans already existing and were square. What they were for I have no idea, if only to save on weight and material on the chassis. I had to use a small hand grinder to remove an angled bevel circling the holes on the inside before I could mount the fans.
So it wasn't a perfect fit and used aluminum tape then black tape over that to cover up the open areas.

Up to the other day (after I had already installed my base cooler) I never seen any other mod using fans in the bottom of their homebuilt. Of course his was built on stilts, not quit as attractive, but he published first...arrrrrr.
