Final Product

The box is as 24 inch cube made out of MDF with two 18 inch long 4 inch diameter Precision Ports, and Atlas 15 driver, and a Parts Express 240 watt plate amplifier.

The box was glued with Gorilla Glue and held together with 1 1/2 inch brads for assembly with a number of pipe and pony clamps. Sheet rock screws can also be used to hold the box together while the glue sets.

The box was veneered with cherry, but could have been painted instead.

I made the box front firing due to placement requirements in the room it is going into. This required the construction of a grill. I will not go into a great amount of detail in the construction of the grill, but will describe what I did.

Tools required are a table (preferred) or circular saw, drill with bits, saber saw, and some clamps (pipe or pony). A router is also nice to have for cutting the large circle, but not required. All of the cuts that are inside of the MDF will be covered by something (port, driver, amp) so perfect interior cuts are not required.
