The Wave

This design is available in 16" or 21" dia., in various color combinations. Pictured is a blue "antique" glass from Germany that's been mirror plated Stateside, but I'm phasing out this texture, in favor of a "water glass" texture that's pictured on the colorless wave. This is good for places where no color is needed, or desired.
Also available is a Two Tone Wave
Another deco design, with steeper ziggurat "V's" is also available rimmed in copper in the 21" size. For the copper framed version, click on round copper deco "V"
For a different geometric look within a 16" copper circle, I use checks of light and dark mirror, each with a water glass texture.
Copper Checks

The same "L" pattern I've also framed in oak is pictured below, rimmed in copper, and available in either the 16" or the 21" size. Using iridized glass, and bright mirror strips, the right angles introduce some rectilinear geometry on the circular design.

I also make some copper circles in a 10" diameter---about the size of a dinner plate. There are two color combinations available, 10" Iridized and Gold, or 10" green and carmel

Also available in 10" diameter copper frames are my Garden Art pieces---Art on a Stick. The simplest pieces are whole circles of a single color of glass, with blue being the most popular, followed by red.
I also have some simple leaded glass designs for the outdoors, and some fused glass as well. The Leaded glass designs are another "Wave" (this one horizontal), and an "L".

Garden Art-on-a-stick

The fused glass designs are pretty distinctive, using easily recognizable, popular shapes that have been well received by the public.

These are kiln-fired at nearly 1500 degrees, to fuse the different, overlapping pieces of glass together into one complete whole.

The Tao symbol---yin and yang, is often recognized by people who don't always understand it's meaning and significance. When young children ask about the design, I tell them that it's supposed to remind us that our notions of duality or opposites sometimes need adjustment. It's important to remember that each supposed "opposite" contains a bit of it's counterpart within itself. Takes a bit of the edge off the old ideas of black/white, good/evil, male/female.
This one requires drilling big holes in the glass pieces under water, with a diamond hole saw, before firing the assemblage in a kiln, at nearly 1500 degrees.
The stylized stars and stripes design is titled "It's my flag too", to remind people that we all share our country's flag, and therefore don't have to allow others to attempt to co-opt this powerful symbol that belongs to all of us, and that we can all use as we see fit, without disrespect at all.
Peace symbol necklace

More fused glass pieces that have gotten really good responses at art shows are little Peace Symbol Necklaces. Take a look at these popular items, made from recycled scrap glass I've ground into pellets and powder (frit), before re-casting it, and fusing it in a second kiln firing, for very timely jewelry, in a retro, casual presentation.
