Youth Apprenticeship is a State Certified Program.  The two year program is for high school juniors.  There are some program opportunities for a one year program available to high school seniors.  The application process includes an application form, references and a personal interview.  Students must be in good academic standing to apply; it is strongly recommended that applicants have at least a 2.0 GPA.

While in the program students take high school classes required to meet graduation requirements.  They will also have one class each semester in the occupational area of their youth apprenticeship program.  In addition, students receive on-the-job training at a local job site.  Youth Apprentices will be paid and receive academic credit for their work-based learning, both high school and technical college credit.

Please look at program offering for detailed description of each program area.
