Research shows that learning and thinking are most successful when they take place in the context of relevant experience.  In other word, most people learn best by doing.  Through Wolf River School to Work's Youth Apprenticeship program, students will:

  • Explore a potential career

  • Learn and handle responsibility, develop good work habits, learn problem solving, time management, and teamwork from skilled adults

  • See first hand the connection between education and real life work skills

  • Earn wages during the one or two year program

  • Gain advanced standing in the Wisconsin Technical College System

80% of Youth Apprenticeship Students continue to work for the Youth Apprenticeship employer after graduation.
