Petty Officer Training

Congratulations on yer promotion to Petty Officer! Here is what ye need to do in order to be promoted to Junior Officer.

First, ye must be a Petty Officer. See How To Get Promoted fer details.

Second ye need to pass each of the following lessons:

• Petty Officer Lesson 1 Navigation and Etiquette

• Petty Officer Lesson 2 Battle Nav Basics

• Petty Officer Lesson 3 Disengaging

• Petty Officer Lesson 4 Officer Responsibilities

After passing each of these lessons, ye will be promoted to Junior Officer, also known as "Officer In Training".

Please note that if the Missions Board offers ye Brigand Hunting missions, ye can do lessons 2 and 3 by yerself and just report to Lord Kalvan that ye did them.

Pirates who have experience being an officer in another crew can combine all four lessons into a single discussion with Lord Kalvan, and then request a check ride to see what Junior Officer lessons need to be covered.
