The First Regiment West Virginia Cavalry, Inc is (501)(3-C) non-profit educational living history family oriented re-enactment group. if you are interested in re-enacting and having fun while doing it we would welcome you and your family to join us.
     Most all events we do are open to all family members (of course you must be in period dress
either soldier or civilian) some training weekends are for men only because we do rough it
then. There is no alcohol and no foul language in our camps. We do a variety of events from
local ones around Petersburg, WV to Canaan WV (you might have to fight off the BEARS at
that one, just Kidding!) We also do some events in other parts of W.Va., Va. Md. & Pa. such as  Gettysburg to name a few. If you are interested in keeping history alive, and have fun doing it contact us. Our dues are $10.00 per person age 13 & up and associates have
1 year to renew membership.
