Civil War Re-enactment & Living History
The Fort Mill Ridge Civil War Trenches are battle trenches .
We will again have the federal camp at the trench fort as in the past 2 years. The confederates will be camping on the Sitar farm.
There will be 2 battle re-enactments Saturday's battle (2 pm) the Confederates will be attacking the Federals defending the fort. Transportation to the fort will be provided to the confederates. Sundays battle (2 pm) will be on the Sitar farm the Federals will attack the confederate position. Transportation to the farm will be provided to the federals.
This year there is a $10.00 fee that will be charged with registration. Provided at both locations will be Water ,Firewood & port-a-pots Also Saturdays meal will be provided by the Romney fire hall -Transportation will be provided to the re-enactors to the firehal.l
There will be a candlelight tour Sat night at 7pm - 8pm in the Union Camp . The Federal Commander will be Major Don Swope
