Barbecue Days: Adding to summer fun is a festive three-day Barbecue Days celebration on the third weekend in July. Parades, carnivals, food, music, fireworks and entertainment beckon a huge reunion of friends and neighbors.

Scarecrow Festival: A unique month-long Scarecrow Festival attracting thousands of visitors is sponsored each October by Emma Krumbee's Restaurant and Market.
