IB History Services has now restored the history of the first Ice Bat season.

The Ice Bats inaugural season was noteworthy for the first Ice Bat game and victory over Cedar Inn, the second game of the season saw initial appearance of the original and most popular Ice Bat Adrian's edition jersey, how the number of vowels in Brainerd Bud Baakkonen's last name would vary by how many beers Paul Whitey Wolfram consumed the night before, and how Duane "Killer" Koshiol got his nickname (a direct result of Whitey Wolfram attempt to nickname him "Cheese Factory").

IB Historical Services brings you another lost Ice Bat season website. To access click on the Ice Bats 1998 link on the right side of this page.

The 1999 season is remembered for beloved leader Jimmy the Wheel Lemire's five game plan, a surprising Saturday afternoon win over the Cows, Pete Overgaard's MVP season, and Whitey Wolfram's increasingly bizarre and inaccurate postings from January 7 through the 21st. Whitey was put on compassionate leave as IB Service's Ice Bat Director of Communications (TM IB Services) midway through the season.
