You aren't anything without people who love and care for you.
My son is now a teenager and I am 30 something. I try and enjoy life like a child, but as I get older, I am begining to feel the aches and pains of old age. I have seen both good and evil in this world; both as acts of god and of man.
I found the love of my life at a critical time in my life. I truly believe she saved me from a very short future on this world. Of course we have had our ups and downs, but we still love each other dearly.
Our puppy is a part of the family with her own little set of neurosis. We named her "Nala" from the Disney movie, which we have found to be very fitting because she acts like a big cat sometimes.
I have never met my father and no longer have a desire to. It was difficult growing up without the guidance a good father can provide. But I always fell back of something I realized early on: "No matter how bad you think you have it, someone else has had it worse and came out better than you. So... quit feeling sorry for yourself."
