We have both chosen to dedicate our professional lives to children and music. In fact, we first met while singing together in the same chorus. Cliff has been teaching elementary school music for nearly ten years and loves his work. Conio enjoys going to watch the way Cliff inspires a love of music in his students at each school concert.It shines through in their faces! Cliff also assists with the drama program at his school and has music directed several shows.Being a teacher will allow Cliff to spend the summer months and all school vacations at home with our child.He looks forward to planning the first summer activity calendar!
Conio is a music therapist and has devoted his professional life to working with people who have disabilities. He currently works at a residential school for children who have multiple disabilities and medical frailties. Cliff admires the incredible work that Conio does. He views it as using music to reach a person’s soul. Conio loves his work and feels so privileged to do what he does.
As you can imagine, music fills our home. It is not unusual when we have friends visiting for all of us to gather around the piano to sing and play. We also enjoy theater…both performing in it and attending plays and musicals. We are excited to introduce the world of music and the arts to our child.
