We recently purchased a home that will afford a lot of space for our child to run and play both indoors and out. It is a lovely two-story contemporary set on five country acres in upstate New York. Our location is quite rural and it is not that unusual to see deer or wild turkeys in our front yard. Although we live in a small town, we are only a car ride away from the culture and diversity of New York City. Our location will definitely provide a child with the best of both worlds.
Currently, the only pitter-patter of little feet we have in our home is that of our two cats, Francesco and Cosmo. They have been with us for eight of our ten years. “Frannie” is definitely a bit more timid, preferring to be by himself most of the time. Cosmo, on the other hand loves to be around people. We affectionately nicknamed him “Baby” because he often cries for attention from all corners of our house for cuddling and love.
