Tom Petty Misses Out On Grammy Award

Tom Petty lost out on another Grammy Award when his song "Square One" was beaten by "Believe" in the category of Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media. Petty's song, which was featured in Cameron Crowe's film "Elizabethtown" and will also appear on his forthcoming solo album Highway Companion, was his first nomination in this category.

His previous Grammy nominations include Full Moon Fever (Album of the Year), Wildflowers (Best Rock Album), "Learning To Fly" (Best Rock Song), "Into the Great Wide Open" (Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal), Echo (Best Rock Album), "You Don't Know How it Feels" (Best Male Rock Vocal Performance), "Free Fallin'" (Best Male Rock Vocal Performance), Traveling Wilburys, Volume One (Album of the Year), and Traveling Wilburys, Volume One (Best Rock Performance By A Duo or Group With Vocal).
