What is the Business Inspection program?We are currently an ISO (Insurance Service Office) rating of 4. What does that mean?The Peninsula Fire District has been conducting rescues on Lake Almanor since 1998. Since that time we have participated in over 30 rescues on Lake Almanor. Back to TopI received a lot cleanup notice, what do I do now ?If you received a lot cleanup notice this means that we have conducted an inspection and found some issues that could potentially create a fire hazard. These items, listed on your notice, should be taken care of within the time listed on your notice. If you will not be able to do it in that time or simply need more time extensions are given on a case by case basis. You can receive an extension by mail or telephone. If You fail to remedy the hazards you will be subject to further notification and possibly having the issue turned over to the State for proper enforcement.
