Dear N.H.S. Classmates, We're planning a reunion weekend for our Nampa High School Class of 1957, on September 7th and 8th, 2012. We hope every one of you will join us to celebrate our long friendship. Of course, we have grown way beyond Lenn Cruse's challenges but we're still here and growing. Our party will be casual and relatively inexpensive, all focused around a chance to get reacquainted with old friends. We won't have a formal banquet, but plan for several hours of good conversation with classmates over two days. We hope you will arrive Friday afternoon [any time between 4:00 and 10:00 p.m.] for an informal gathering at the Holiday Inn Express, 4104 E. Flamingo Ave, Nampa. After you register and pick up reunion materials, plan for lots of informal chat with classmates. We'll have snacks and a no-host bar. We'll be on our own for dinner. Plans for Saturday are equally casual. We'll have a catered picnic in Liberty Park, starting at 1 p.m. Again, we plan a minimum of formalities and a maximum of conversation with old friends. The cost? Your committee has concluded that $20 per person will cover everything. We hope that you can attend both events, but if you can't, the Friday evening event is free and the cost for Saturday is $20. Please join us. We need to know how many people to plan for, so print out, fill in, and mail the reunion form by August 1, 2012, along with a check. Meanwhile, look over the original grade school group photographs for Kenwood, Lakeview, Roosevelt, East Side, Sunny Ridge, Midway and Scism and see if you can recognize any of the faces with question marks. The committee is continuing to search for 26 LOST classmates. If you have any leads, please let us know.
