HOW TO ENROLL
ABP Enrollment Codes:
Self Only – 421, Self and Family – 422

During the Annual FEHB Open Season, anyone eligible to participate in the FEHB Program may enroll, change health plans or options, cancel your FEHB enrollment, and change participation in premium conversion (waive or begin participation).

Who may enroll in this Plan:
ABP is available to all civilian employees of the National Intelligence Community (IC), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and retiree’s of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Civilian employees in the following organizations:
Office of DNI (ODNI) and Affiliated Centers Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) (Including Retired employees) Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)Department of Energy, Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence Department of Homeland Security, Office of Intelligence and Analysis Department of Treasury, Office of Intelligence and Analysis Drug Enforcement Administration, Intelligence Division Federal Bureau of Investigation National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)National Security Agency (NSA)Office of Naval Intelligence State Department/INRU.S. Air Force, Office of Intelligence and Air Intelligence Agency U.S. Army, Office of Intelligence and Security Command U.S. Coast Guard, Office of Intelligence and Criminal Investigations U.S. Marine Corps, Office of Intelligence and Marine Intelligence Activity Employees must enroll in the Health Plan when actively employed by above organizations in order to retain or choose the Plan in retirement.

You must also be eligible to enroll in the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHB).

You may be able to enroll online using Employee Express.

Or... Employees of agencies payrolled by the National Finance Center may be able to enroll through Employee Personal Page.

Or... Submit Standard Form 2809, Employee Health Benefit Election Form, to your human resources office.

Annuitants:
During the annual FEHB Open Season, anyone eligible to participate in the FEHB Program may enroll, change health plans or options, cancel your FEHB enrollment, and change participation in premium conversion (waive or begin participation). You may enroll or make changes by:

Using OPM's Open Season Online system.

Enrolling by telephone using Open Season Express. Call 1-800-332-9798.

Sending email to: retire@opm.gov or regular mail to: Office of Personnel Management, Open Season Processing Center, P. O. Box 5000, Lawrence, KS 66046-0500.

When using the email or regular mail option, please clearly state your open season request. If you are making an enrollment change, be sure to tell OPM which ABP plan you want, the type of coverage you want (self only or self and family), and the enrollment code. Remember to include your annuity claim number and social security number on your request.
