Services Provided at Mary's Cradle

  • Maternity clothes and information on community services available to pregnant women.

  • A lending library of books, videos, and pamphlets on appropriate topics related to pregnancy and infant/child care.

  • Full newborn layettes and older infant layettes. Parents are encouraged to return clothing for larger sizes as the baby grows.

  • Furnishings such as cribs, car seats, strollers, etc.  Again, parents are encouraged to return these when they are no longer needed.

  • The tiny garments and items needed by low birth-weight babies.

  • Books for infants and young children of thick board, cloth, or plastic material.

  • Stimulation toys needed by all infants for good growth and development of healthy brains and agile limbs.

  • Items and support for special needs children.

  • New mom gift bags.

  • Camping and recreational activities for teen moms.

  • Emotional and spiritual support including printed material.

  • Education classes i.e. workshops on infant CPR, playing with baby, etc.

  • Information and referral working closely with other community organizations and agencies.
