About the Author:
Vicki Rasmussen was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area. She studied at Brigham Young University, both in Provo and Hawaii, and at the USU extension in Brigham City, UT. She has tutored reading in various community programs, and has worked as an elementary school teacher's aide in literacy. She served on the advisory board to the Box Elder County Literacy Program for six years, and is currently the Planning Commission Secretary for Bear River City, enjoying rural life in Northern Utah. She and her husband are the parents of seven children, five who served missions, and they have 18 grandchildren. Vicki is also the author of The True Story of “The Night Before Christmas," an illustrated children’s book.
