General Notes: Elsie Couch Brown was buried at the Ocean View Burial Park on Boundary Road Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The burial was arranged by the Chapel of Chimes, on Ontario St. Elsie died at home, 6384 Prince Albert St., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Elsie served in the British Red Cross in WW1 in both England and France. At one time she was stationed at Epsom, England only a few miles from where her grandson John Alton Brown was stationed ( Frith Park Manor) in WW2, 1942. Elsie returned from overseas May 17, 1918. Eliza married John Edward Brown, son of Andrew Brown and Martha Jones, on 24 Dec 1890 in Claremont, York, Ontario, Canada. (John Edward Brown was born on 10 Sep 1869 in Altona, Ontario, Canada, died on 26 Jun 1962 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and was buried in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.)
