DINING
HALL PROJECT
Upon completion of the Library Project, IAEF president
travelled to Karimnagar, Andhrapradesh, India in 2009 on his own to inspect the
building. Pictures were taken to document the work. Good portion of the work
was done by the volunteers and it reduced the cost. The work met his approval.
With the completion of the hostel, the Boys' Hostel provided
basic amenities except a Dining Hall. Meals were being served to the students
in temporary tin sheds. Windy weather conditions made serving virtually
impossible. In the meeting that was arranged to express hostel management's
gratitude to the IAEF Executive Board the students requested for help to
establish a permanent Dining Hall. The hostel management also separately
requested financial support to the tune of $29,000.
Upon returning to the States the request for the Dining Hall
was put forward in the meeting of IAEF Executive Board and it was approved.
Currently the Dining Hall project is underway. The building
construction was initiated in 2011. The
picture to the left shows the erection of first floor. The project is expected to be
completed by 2014.
The library, dining hall and the girls' school will be addressed under
the project "Project-Education". If you wish to support this Dining Hall project, IAEF
will greatly appreciate any contribution that you would like to make to fulfill its
