Indo-American Education Fund is a non-profit organization. The first project initiated by the Fund was "Project-Education" to help educate the underprivileged communities in India. As a start up, a student library was planned and fully funded and it was completed in 2006. This library cost $20,000. Currently IAEF has undertaken to build a Dinning Hall for the benefit of students in a hostel in Karimnagar, India. The hostel offers free boarding and lodging for poor and orphan students below the poverty line. Up until now it had no permanent structure to serve as a Dinning Hall. A temporary tin shed was used for serving meals. With the completion of this project the hostel will have a place that the students will be grateful for the comfort that it offers. As of this writing this project is half completed. With your help, however small it could be, we will strive to complete it. It is estimated to cost $30,000.

Another objective of the Fund is to recognize, encourage and financially help deserving students of meager means in India to pursue their cherished college education. There are many such students. A little of what we can spare will go a long way in the betterment of not only one individual but also his/her entire family.
