ROSA ADELINE MARTIN
Mrs. Rosa A. Martin, age 83, of 4965 W. Center Road, Millington, passed away Thursday, June 22, 1972 at Lapeer County General Hospital after an illness of a week. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 7, 1888 in Cairo, Nebraska. She married Charles Otis Martin in Vassar and he passed away April 25, 1955. She has lived most of her life in Tuscola County except for 7 years in Ohio. Survivors include a son, Charles Martin of Mayville; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters Amanda Frisbie of Fresno, Calif. and Mildred Buckle of Otter Lake and a brother Elmer Bellamy of Saginaw. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 25 at the Blackmore and Tubbs Chapel Rev. Ralph Barteld officiated and burial was at Millington Cemetery.
