I bought my wife an antique, treadle-powered sewing machine for the living room. Since she's
having problems going up and down the stairs to the sewing room, I figured she
would appreciate having a sewing machine on the main floor. She learned how to sew on a similar machine long ago.
The main wood used for the project is red Oak, the cover is curly Maple and the drawer carcases are Walnut.
