Hello Bob, Love your website. I was assigned to the 355th MMS at DMAFB and was deployed to Korat RTAFB as part of the second group sent around the January 73 time frame. I was there TDY and then rotated back and then received PCS orders back to Korat when the 354th was made the 3rd TFS. I spent a year there then. I am trying to locate people from both units in particular anyone from the 355 MMS who flew over on the C-141 that left directly out of DMAFB. Our C-141 left DM during the early morning hours and went to Hickham in Hawaii, Wake Island, Tan Son Nhut and then on into Korat. We were house in an open bay barracks on Camp Friendship during this TDY deployment. I am trying to substantiate the stop at Tan son Nhut. Can you or anyone you know help me out. I'm sorry but since all of this is almost 40 years ago I don't even remember my hootchmates name. I do remember that at DM and during the TDY my load team leader was a Black Staff Sgt named Larry Wilson and our shop supervisor was a Chief MSgt Named McGillivary (sorry but I don't remember his first name. We worked the second shift at DM and at Korat. Thank You for your help and keep up the website. Carl A. Vogel RCAKROPILOT@aol.com
