Waldo, the mascot Polecat of the 192 AHC
Waldo was adopted as the unit mascot shortly after the 192nd Assault
Helicopter Company was commissioned at Fort Riley, Kansas in 1967.
He traveled with the men and the aircraft on a boat to Tuy Hoa, Vietnam.
Waldo did not adapt to his new environment.
