M101 Spiral Galaxy in Ursa Major

Vixen 120mm Refractor F/6.7 (800mm)  Kodak PJ 400  Single Exposure  60 Minutes  July 13, 2001
The 800 mm image scale is a bit small for this object and doesn't handle enlargement well.

M101 is a face-on spiral galaxy located near the end of the handle of the big dipper ( Ursa Major).
