Senator Jeff Sessions

An Eagle Scout from Troop 94

 

Senator Jeff Sessions was born in Hybart, Alabama and became an Eagle Scout in 1964, and recently received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award. Sessions has served as an Assistant U. S. Attorney for the Southern District of AL (1975-1977), a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of AL from 1981 to 1993, and as AL’s Attorney General (1995-1997). Sessions began serving the U.S. Senate in January of 1997.

Senator Sessions has received numerous awards while serving in the U.S. Senate some of which include: the Guardian of Small Business Award, the Teddy Roosevelt Environmental Award, the AL Farmer’s Federation’s Service to Agriculture Award, and the Watchdog of the Treasury Award.

The leadership skills that Senator Sessions acquired as an Eagle Scout in his past have molded his character into the great man that he is today. Citizenship, Leadership, and Integrity are all traits of a truly great Eagle Scout. The trail to Eagle may be long and toilsome but it’s path is what molds today’s young people into tomorrow’s leaders.
