Swaybar Holder

If you use a swaybar, there's always the question of what you do with it when unhooked.  If you keep the pivot balls greased, it can be  a messy distraction and delay on the way to Margarita Time.  Here's what I've done.

The ledge is a 1" x 1/8" piece of steel, about 5" long.  One end is bent up an inch so the swaybar doesn't slip off. It's screwed to the underside of the frame with two 1” long TEK type self-tapping screws.

When you unhook, just unclamp and pivot the swaybar up, over, and down, resting it in place on the shelf. You don't have to lay it on the ground or carry it around in your towing vehicle. If you are concerned with theft, just braze the keeper ring closed on the trailer pivot end.
