FEE INCREASE FOR ’04-‘05

Due to increasing costs, personnel additions and our goal to purchase our building next year, our fees will increase for the upcoming year.  This is the first tuition increase in three years.  The $100 registration fee per family remains the same.  These funds are directed towards new materials and other supplies for the classrooms.  The monthly fees for tuition will increase to $440 for full day and $305 for half day ($20 and $15 respectively).  We will still offer a 5% tuition discount for advance payment of year in full. Tuition monies are used for payroll, insurance, rent, utilities, etc.  Finally, a new Activity Fee will be initiated for the upcoming year.  This will be $50 per child due at the beginning of the school year.  This fee will be used to support Enrichment Activities such as Sign Language, Art Appreciation, Foreign Language, Music, Yoga, etc.  Please feel free to contact your Board with any questions or comments.  Remember, we are a nonprofit, parent-run school.  Everything you pay goes toward the school and the teachers.  Thank you for your support.

Text Box: PLEASE REMEMBER!!!!!!!!

Garage Sale: Please look through your house/garage for garage sale items and bring them in. We have lots of storage and would like to begin sorting. Do you have friends with items to donate? The more we collect, the more we can sell (and remember: Walmart matches our profit). This is a great chance for the school to make some money for the children!

Bake Sale: Please bring in a goody for us to sell at the garage sale. It doesn’t have to be complicated. How about Safeway sugar cookies or some slice & bakes?

End of Year Celebration: Do you have a dressy white outfit for your child? Girls should preferably be in a dress or skirt and blouse. Boys should wear white dress-pants or nice shorts, and white shirt. Khaki is acceptable if you really can’t find white. White is hard to find, especially for boys, so please start looking now!

ESCRIP!

What is this Escrip-thing that we keep telling you about?  It’s basically $$ free money $$ for our school!  All you have to do is sign up your Safeway Frequent Shopper Card and also any of your Credit or Debit Cards that you use frequently (this step is not necessary, but it will mean more contributions for the school).  That’s it!  It takes 5 minutes or less and then you can forget all about it.  The contributions from Safeway and other participating retailers will come to us automatically and you don’t have to do anything else! Log on to www.escrip.com to register.  Use ID # 10494774, or look us up by location and name.

PRINT CARTRIDGES

We are collecting used print cartridges as another easy way to make some money for the school.  Please bring in any used cartridges and place them in the box in the entryway.
