THE CRAFT SHOP

The Craft Shop was made of two 16 X 16 foot huts nailed together. It sat on the north side of the camp about midway up the hill.

"Not too many people recall that there even was a Craft Shop at Red Canyon - but I made very good use of it on a few occasions. I made the obligatory leather hand-tooled belt for my jeans and a long-since-lost fine leather wallet, hand stitched. Great to show off with in the local Carrizozo bars." Alan Graham
