MISSILE TRACKING RADAR CONSOLE

An operator is seated at the Missile Tracking Radar (MTR) console. This is a one man operation. His position is both manually and automatically operated. He has indicator lamps to monitor missile designate, ready, track, fire, launch and burst progress. Located on the panel to left of his console are his elevation and azimuth error meters. He also has indicator lamps for the four Sections and Launchers (A, B, C, & D) located in the Launcher area. By the operation of two Red covered spring loaded toggle switches to the down position, the position becomes fully automatic, hands free controlled.
