The
final countdown has begun for Antakshari 2006.
Due to overwhelming response, we are pleased to announce that there will
be a qualifying round of all participants’ right before the Final
Antakshari event.
Qualifying Round
·
Qualifying round is a buzzer round with audio-cues given to
all the participants.
·
Only the first 10 successful participants will move to the
Final Antakshari Event. They will form
5 teams that will be randomly selected.
Final Antakshari Rounds Detail
·
Regular Antakshari round: Sing at
least first two lines of song with the last akshar of the previous team’s
song. For example, for the song ending
with word “Jaane”, the akshar “N” is the cue for next team and not the “A”
phonetic sound.
·
Word- chit round: The teams will pick a chit.
The word has to be in the first two lines of the song.
·
Dhun (audio) round with Buzzer: A prelude of the song will be played and
the team who hits the buzzer first gets to guess the song. Correct guesses win the points.
·
Kilbil round: Audio cues round for kids below 15
years of age. Have fun kiddos!!!

Gata Rahe Mera Dil
(Theme)-
Actor & actress + Mood or situation: This is a chit round. Teams will
be given the name of an actor and the mood or situation (Shahrukh and piano,
Shammi Kapoor and birthday party etc.)
·
Visual Buzzer round: Muted visual clips will be shown on screens. This is
a buzzer round.
·
Tie breaker round: If we have a tie between teams then this round will be played.
·
No song will be repeated during the show.
·
For a song to be judged right, first two lines should be
sung correctly.
·
The hosts/judges decision is final.
·
The number of
rounds will be dependent on the time available and may change during the event.
