Welcome to the night and the realm of the vampire. These aren't your father's vampires so please check your garlic and crosses at the door, they won't help you anyway.

My vampires are an ancient race. To learn their origins read The Origin of the Modern Vampire. They are not vulnerable to any religious objects (wafers, crosses, holy water, etc.) They can cross running water. A vampire doesn't have to be invited to come into your house. He or she doesn't have to carry soil from their native land with himself or herself. Also a vampire's bite or a death caused by one will not turn the victim into another vampire. If that happened the world would be crawling with them. A vampire's powers and traits vary with age. However, they cannot turn into bats or wolves. They must sleep during the day and sunlight burns them.

I've created a whole coven of vampires that I write about and they make appearances in most of my X-Men stories. Here are brief descriptions of my vampires.
