she said that I was from the moon
that I was born centuries ago under the stars
but I know it's not the truth
I wanted to be an astronaut & fly to the moon or beyond
I wanted to take the secrets back with me when I'm gone

she wants me to write her a letter
to Buzz Aldrin and that other guy
she says it gets quite lonely up there
when you're alone in the sky

something's happening here
she goes away for 2000 years
