10 Things to Try in my Classroom:

                  1.  Create a Brain Cell and add dendrites
                  2.  Review with "Roving Reporter" - interview 3 people
                       about  what they learned.

                  3.  "Whata, Whata, Whata"  What happened? 
                       So What -Why is it important; Now What -application
                       of information
                  4.  Create a "community of learners" where rules are
                       established by the community and reinforced by each other.
                  5.  Use "Interactive Notebooks"
                  6.  Consider establishing learning area and "offices" for work
                  7.  Discuss the triune brain model and the "lizard brain"
                  8.  Use colors and aromas to enhance the classroom climate
                  9.  Try to present new information from students' right side and"
                        review from students' left side
                 10.  Use right/left brain inventory and have students create a
                        human graph of where they are on the continuum.
                   *   Use learning modality (visual, kinesthetic, auditory)
                        assessment and share results with parents and students.
                
  *   Use creative ways to review - draw pictures, put
                        information into songs, use rainbow to order info
                   *   Use relaxation techniques to reduce student stress

                   *   Try "anchoring" technique and Brain Gym activities
