The following are pictures of the East Broad Top Railroad taken in summer of 1971 or 1972. I found the railroad by accident on my first vacation trip into Pa. After spending a couple of days here and riding the line I knew I would have to have a 3ft. gauge line on my "dream" layout. I have more pictures to add, unfortunatley I can't find them at this time. But when I do they will added to the list.

Theses are pictures of the M1 along side the shops. They are front view, 3/4 front, 3/4 rear and rear. One of these days I'd like to build a 3/8n3 model of it. |

The first picture is of two box cars, one hopper and one flat. The second picture is of what looks to be a combine. The third picture is of passenger car #5 and a open flat car for passengers. The fourth picture is a 3/4 end view of passenger car No.14 |
The follwoing 6 pictures were taken at Mt. Union. The first is a close up of the tree over grown coal transfer. The second is of a flat and box car with the timber transfer in the background. The third is a 3/4 view of the steel boxcar. The fourth is long view down the yard with the timber transfer in the background. The fifth is of three triple hoppers, two with extended sides. The sixth picture shows two dual gauge turnouts, one right behind the other with a hopper in the background. |
