CALL
TO CONFESSION
UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Dear God, we
enjoy the thought of freedom, but we confess we do not know how to enjoy
freedom itself. Forgive us for interpreting freedom as a privilege to do as we
please. Deliver us from the misery we have caused by yielding to our human
nature. Fill us with your Spirit to live the life that gives pleasure not only
to ourselves, but to you and others. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER OF DEDICATION
Dear God,
freely we have received from You and freely we give. You have given us life and new life in Jesus
Christ. You have given us blessings and
gifts and fruits of Your Spirit. We now
give to you our tithes and our offerings, asking that they may be symbols of
our love and of ourselves now offered more fully to you. Use these gifts and us, we pray, to the end
that your realm may come and your will be done on earth, even as it is done in
heaven; through Jesus Christ our Savior
and Lord. Amen.
