As an instructor of cinematographer workshops Don shares his knowledge freely with professionals domestically and internationally.

Course director and instructor for cinematography workshops sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company in more than thirty cities worldwide. These workshops involve four days of shooting with a full native crew. Course director and instructor for the Advanced Cinematography Workshop given twice annually by Don at the Maine International Film and Television Workshops Rockport Maine.

Don has in his background extensive experience in the film laboratory. Giving him a keen sense for how film stock will react after being exposes in his camera.

Functioned as a Motion Picture Specialist responsible for controlling the exposure and processing of interpositive and internegative duplicating films.
