Campus Ministry

Throughout the month of November we remember in prayer those who have gone before us in death. If you have someone you would like us to pray for either sign the Book of Remembrance at the entrance to the chapel or email their names and we can put them in the book. At all the masses this month we will pray for those listed in the book. EVENTS This week is the 1st Sunday in Advent and our mass schedule remains the same this week 11 am and 6:30 pm   Fr. Sean will be hearing confessions after each 6:30 mass during Advent                              8 pm scripture sharing Upcoming Events: Christmas caroling at McCauley Manor Nursing home at 6:30 on December 2 Decorating for Christmas, holiday movies (Elf) and bake Christmas cookies for the Alfred food pantry 6 -8 pm on Friday December 3 Blessing of brains Sunday December 5 at both masses End of semester brunch (free) Sunday December 5 at 4 pm

St. Jude parish is the home of Catholic Campus Ministry in Alfred. We are here to serve the Catholic community on the campuses of Alfred State College, and Alfred University. Here at St.Jude we offer opportunities for prayer, education, spiritual and pastoral counseling, social activities, music, faith sharing, social outreach and much more. The St. Jude Center is located right across the street from the Main Attraction on Alfred State’s Campus on Lower College Drive. You are welcome to stop by anytime; to pray, for a quiet place to study in the lounge, to enjoy the big screen TV or if you just want someone to talk with. We hope to see you and bring a friend.

Regular Schedule

Events	Tuesday - 4:30 rosary, 5 pm mass followed by homemade soup suppers and guest speakers Wednesay - 5:30 student leadership dinner / meetings                     7 pm - small groups- faith sharing Community Service twice a month - serve at the Wellsville Soup Kitchen              Ministery with the elderly at McCauley Manor (October 15, November 19 and December 3) Saturdays- social events and trips (check the weekly schedule) Sunday - choir practice 6:15 pm (new members always welcome)                Bible Study   7:30 pm Respect Life group has monthly meetings and events * New students are always welcome to attend any and all events!
Masses	St. Judes Chapel Sunday 11:00 am Sunday 6:30 pm
Other Gatherings	Social justice/ community service events - twice a month (still scheduling these) Social events - at least twice per month.
