What we’ve done so far:

Feb 2010

The youth sponsored the Ash Wednesday soup supper on the 17th.  They worked hard serving soup and cleaning up afterwards.

We went to Sylvan Hills for a field trip on the 21st.

ACT sponsored the food stand at the dartball tournament on the 28th.

Jan 2010

The ACT held its 2nd Annual Bowling Event for neighboring youth groups.  Thirty youth showed up for bowling, fun, and fellowship.

Dec 2009

We tied blankets for Safe Haven.  We also sang carols to the shut-ins at the apartments and packed candy bags for the Christmas program.

Nov 2009

We watched A Christmas Carol 3D at Cedar Creek Cinemas.  Seven youth attended this event.  It was a good movie.

Oct 2009

The youth prepared a spaghetti dinner at church and served it at the Jubilee House in Wausau.  The kids all did a wonderful job at this event.  We were complimented several times by the soup kitchen members on how great of a job the kids were doing.  It was a great experience for them.

Our Kick-Off Event was bowling at Resch Lanes in Wittenberg.  We had pizza, soda, and loads of fun!

July 2009

Hosted and played in a volleyball tournament between neighboring churches.

June 2009

We took a trip to Mt. Olympus in the Dells.

May 2009

Cleaned and raked Ruth Satre’s lawn.

April 2009

The group visited the Lodge at Cedar Creek for a day of swimming and fun.

Prepared and served a breakfast for Easter Sunday.
