St Martin LWML, invites all to join us on Tues. July 24th at 11:00 A.M. in the Fellowship hall at St Martin Lutheran Church, 100 S. Clinton in Clintonville. We will have a K-9 visitor and a presentation by the Comfort Dog Ministry sponsored by Lutheran Church Charities. The program will be followed by our Indoor Potluck Picnic. If you want to stay for the picnic, bring a dish to pass. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided. Bring a friend!
Blue Ribbon Schoolhouse Music Concert
The Blue Ribbon Schoolhouse will host its annual Music concert on Saturday July 28th, 2018 at N2904 Split Rock Rd, Tigerton. The historic school will be open for tours 2pm-4pm. Food will be provided by Peace Lutheran Church-Split Rock. The Laatsch Family Music Performance starts at 4pm on the green and will feature an evening of great music in a variety of styles. This is an outdoor concert so please bring your own seating. The event will be held rain or shine, in case of rain, event will be held inside barn. A $10 donation is recommended.
8th ANNUAL PORK & CORN DINNER – Saturday, July 28th, 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Morris Town Hall. Menu includes: Pork, Rolls, Sweet Corn, Baby Red Potatoes, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Chips, Fresh Vegetables, Watermelon, Coffee, a piece of Pie-a-la mode and more. A Lutherans For Life Volunteer, Mr. Daniel Willenborg of New Lenox, IL, is requesting your prayers on behalf of his wife, Susan. Susan has been diagnosed with chronic renal failure and has been placed on the kidney transplant list. Daniel is looking to see if anyone knows of someone who would be willing to give the gift of life through kidney donation. Shawano County Fair Volunteers August 30 through September 3
Wolf River Lutheran High School Fundraiser . . .
It is sign-up time again for selling tickets, parking cars, or being a flagman at the Shawano County Fair. Volunteers receive free entry and free parking for their shift(s). New volunteers are also needed to sign up for one or more shifts on any of the days listed during the fair schedule. A special thank you to all the people who have already signed up to work at the 2018 fair. However, there are still around 150 positions of 4 to 5 hours each that need to be filled. To sign up for your preferred choice of days and times, please email Karen Baker at karbaker16@tds.net or call her at 715-853-9137 or 715-758-8874. A post card confirmation will be mailed to all volunteers in early August reminding them of their scheduled shifts and locations. Thanks in advance for your support of WRLHS.
