Facilitator Training: This is a 6-week training session for facilitators of Faith Sharing Groups or SCC’s. In these groups people can speak of their faith and what is important to them. It is important that they are listened to and “received.” The facilitator plays an important part by · Helping the group to stay focused · Helping to create a “safe” atmosphere where trust can grow Facilitator Training focuses on what the facilitator can do to encourage this type of sharing. Two major areas of focus are listening skills and “group life.” Facilitators: Mary Ann Fackelman and Patricia Scouten. Cost: $60.00 per 6-week session (includes handouts.) NB: Attendance is required at all sessions since learning is cumulative and experiential. Can be offered in fewer sessions depending on the hopes/needs of the participants. |

| Massage Therapy:
Linda Hass-Voellinger is a licensed massage therapist, having
graduated from the New York Institute of Massage in Buffalo.
She has continued her education in the area of pain management
and is able to work with people who have chronic pain.
She is available on Mondays.

half-hour; $50 per hour.

Ministry and Its Gifts : Do you have people in your ministry losing steam, focus or motivation? This session invites people in any ministry to look at the gifts they bring to their ministry and to notice how the ministry is affecting or forming them. It also encourages them to look at their ministry in the light of Christ’s call to them. |

| Parish Pastoral
Councils: We’ve
really enjoyed working with councils over the past five years and have
(with the help of participating councils) developed various programs for
Parish Councils to use depending on their current
make-up and future hopes, goals and expectations. (Programs
include doing “Graced Histories,” creating Mission Statements and
Working Covenants, learning principles of Collaboration and Consensus
Decision Making, and fostering Servant Leadership and Leadership
Development at all levels.)

Pastoral Counseling:
Therapy
Works is a private practice dedicated to improving wellness in all
persons who seek a healthy relationship with self and others. Older
children, teens, adults and couples are all welcome and will be treated
with the greatest of care. Therapist Elizabeth (Betsy) A. MacKinnon,
LCSW-R believes that caring for the Mind, Body and Soul are integral
components of deep and lasting healing. If you want help with
Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Abuse, Life Changes and Transitions, Crisis
Intervention, etc., call the Prayer Center at 663-5856 and we will put
you in touch with Betsy. Betsy will meet people at the Prayer Center if
they do not want to go to her office. Betsy charges on a sliding scale
according to income. |

| Prayer and
Meditation for Children: If you’d like to be introduced to leading children
through some prayer and meditation, or if you’d like to have us do
some in your school, give us a call.
It is a very moving and powerful thing to watch children find
Christ, quiet, peace and safety within themselves.

| A Location for
a RETREAT or “time away”: We enjoy working with individuals or groups
planning a special time away from the hubbub. Whether you just need
access to the space and special atmosphere of the center or would also
like help facilitating a retreat or enrichment day, feel free to give us
a call.

Spiritual Direction:
We offer
individual Spiritual Direction and also Peer Supervision to support
those doing Spiritual Direction. Spiritual
Direction is for those who would like a companion to accompany them as
they seek to notice God’s presence and find God’s desires for them
in their daily lives. There
is no charge for an initial session.
After that we have a sliding scale of fees.

reflection or planning for your staffs..

Feldenkrais Movement Classes:
The Feldenkrais Method of Awareness through Movement is a series of
lessons provided to improve range of motion, facilitate ease of
movement, decrease pain, and improve gait, posture and balance. It is
named after its originator, Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984) who (motivated
by a series of serious sports related knee injuries) discovered this
extraordinary new approach to physical improvement. Sam Nelson, a
certified Feldenkrais practitioner will be conducting lessons one
Tuesday a month from 10:30 – 12 noon. The next lessons are
