	Fall 2007 For more information on these programs/workshops, please call 585-663-5856 or email us Story Time on the Porch: Children ages 4-8 are invited to join Margaret Gray and Sister Miriam for an evening story hour. The children will listen to two books read by Sr. Miriam - The Pumpkin Patch Parable by Liz Curtis Higgs and The Pumpkin Gospel by Mary Manz Simon. The children will also make a seasonal craft and have a milk and cookies snack. Story Time on the Porch will be held on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Borromeo Prayer Center. The cost is $2.00 per child. Reservations are needed. Call 663-5856 to register your child/children. The Film Ministry returns to the Prayer Center: On Tuesday, November 13 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m., we will watch one of the most acclaimed films of 2006, The Queen. Helen Mirren won the Best Actress Oscar earlier this year for her moving portrayal of Queen Elizabeth. This film focuses on the British royal family’s emotional struggle amidst the overwhelming public grief of their country’s citizens, due to Princess Diana’s tragic death from an auto accident in 1997. This film is rated PG-13 for occasional profanity. We will watch the movie together and then spend some time discussing it with Fr. Steve Lape, as it relates to our life and faith. Soda and Popcorn will be served. Cost: free-will donation. Call 663-5856 to reserve your seat at the movies or for more information.
