Basic/Advanced Resistance Welding Training

[Training Schedule] [Registration]

What's it all about?

Basic Resistance Welding:
The Basic Resistance Welding course is designed for the machine operator and set up
personnel. They will learn how to maintain the proper electrode for the specific task, the
importance of the cooling concept, proper tip pressure and alignment procedures.
Operators are taught to read welding schedules to ensure consistency in the welding
process even through set up changes. MOST IMPORTANT of all, the class will learn to
recognize a quality weld. The ability to identity weld problems and their causes will be
the result of this training.

Advanced Resistance Welding:
The Advanced Resistance Welding course is designed for setup personnel and your
engineering staff This course goes beyond the basics in resistance welding to provide
the skills needed to carry out a specific welding application. New parts, new materials,
or new customers will no longer mean wasted DOLLARS in implementing a new
procedure.

Specialty Metals
The Specialty Metals course goes beyond the Basic and Advanced classes to examine
the details of weld schedules for Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Galvanized, Galvaneal and
Red and Yellow Brass. The course includes hands on welding trials in our Research and
Development Area. The students learn to read the specifications, apply the knowledge
and see the results.
