Because of the importance of saving for the future, we work very closely with the athletes to save and invest their earnings wisely. To accomplish this goal we have special working arrangements with several worldwide financial services companies. Together we offer top notch investment services at no additional cost. Finally, as the athlete's playing career winds down, we work with them to look at other potential job opportunities.
Our firm has worked extremely hard to gain a strong expertise
in tax planning and tax return preparation. Many tax preparers do not fully understand all the laws and planning areas as they apply to pro athletes. Our expertise covers both Canadian and U.S. taxes. Many clients have told us we have saved them more in taxes than the total of our fees!
Sports Consulting has also dealt extensively in Europe. For
those clients who decide that they have interest in playing overseas, at some point in their career, we are able to help. Unlike many Agents who only deal with Europe or North America, we handle both. We recently opened an office in Germany to offer our clients better service overseas.
Obviously not every client is successful enough to earn
