St. Paul's has several varieties of Bible Studies available. Regardless of your preference or interest, we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to delve deeper into God's Word as we read from Scripture, ask questions and discuss its importance in our Christian lives. We have groups of various sizes, ones with just men or women, and we meet at various times of the day. Does your schedule not fit with any of the studies offered? Please let Pastor Ratcliffe know and we'll try to accommodate a Bible Study time that works for you!

Romans
You won't get a better definition and personal application of the Gospel than what you find in the Apostle Paul's letter to the Romans. This is the very book that opened Martin Luther's eyes to the freedom from sin that is in Christ Jesus crucified and Risen. This is a larger group study of men and women with young and old welcome

Matthew
This study is combined with extra time in prayer-a great way to begin your day and to follow through on the Lord's invitation and promise, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you." This is a Men's Morning Bible Study that meets at 6:30AM at a local establishment (of course with coffee and breakfast). Every 4th Tuesday of the month we meet at the church, St. Paul's Lutheran.

This study is an extension of our Sunday morning Bible Study. It is located off site, mainly to provide time in Scripture for our shut-in members at the local nursing home.

Ladies' Aid
The topic of study changes monthly, as drawn from the Lutheran Women's Quarterly. These Bible studies are usually topical in nature, instead of working through one book of the Bible. This is provided for the women of the congregation, once a month, after which the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) has their monthly meeting. 1:30PM in the fellowship hall

GOOD NEWS
This is also a ladies' Bible study that is topical in nature. The studies are drawn from a magazine called GOOD NEWS that is produced quarterly. Every issue focuses on one topic, such as: suffering, encouragement, worship, etc. Then each article within the issue tackles a different avenue of the one, main topic. All women are welcome to this informal study. This is a small group study that meets at the parsonage (Pastor's house) - and sometimes enjoys tea, juice, homemade baked goods, and other goodies!
7PM at the parsonage
2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month

--Is there another topic or book of the Bible that interests you? Is there another day and time that would be better suited to your needs and your schedule? Please contact the church office and let Pastor Ratcliffe know! We look forward to seeing you in worship and in study as we learn about God's love shown through Christ who died and rose for our forgiveness.
"This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down His life for us."
I John 3:16 (NIV)
