My family, on my Father's side, came from Spilsby, Lincolnshire, UK.
And that is practically all I know about
it. But if anyone has found an
Albert Sharman in Spilsby, he was my
grandfather.
Keep up the good work.

Hi
It would be nice to know more about any of
our relations.My fathers
name is David Michael William Sharman (born
07/09/1932 in Bury St
Edmunds, Suffolk England), and his fathers
name was William Fredrick
Sharman (born 16/01/1886 in Ipswich Suffolk
England. My Grandfather
married Rose Mary Wiseman, from West Row near
Icklingham.
It would be nice to find out what happened
to the family when they
lived in Ipswich, and my grandfathers fathers
name, which I think might
have been David.
This is a very interesting site

Hello from Australia,
My son Kurt -&- I have been researching for
several years now the
McALLISTER family, which apparantly has
connections to the Sharmans.
Robert McAlister (b.1761, ?, Ireland)was
sentanced at Dundalk, Louth,
Ireland in Aug. 1798 for taking the oath of
the Irish rebels. He
departed Cork in 1799 aboard the "Minerva"
-&- arrived in Sydney on
11/1/1800. He prospered after his pardon,
leaving many desendants.His
son Thomas -&- wife Elizabeth (nee Voller)
had the first white child born
in the Tumut district of NSW -&- many
McAlister's still live their.
We have been unsucessfull in tracing his
hometown in Ireland -&- any
further info. We have quite an extensive
record of many of his
desndants.
We would be pleased to help other members
of the family, -&- very keen to
hear from anyone wh ocan help us pre 1761.

I was checkimg my e-mails and I thought that
I would look up my surname
on the internet and I was quite surprized to
see that you have a family
page of the Sharman's and I thought that I
would put a piece in your
guest book. I did also think about e-mailing
you but before I do that I
will have to have a word with my
father-in-law, as there is quite a few
Sharmans in the family that I married into. I
didn't relised that there
were so many Sharmans in England, and I found
these pages very
interesting.
