A free preview of the class will be held on Monday, March 3, at 6:30pm . The class begins Monday, March 10, from 6:30-8:30pm, and will be held at Rejoice! Community Church, 1320 3rd Ave SE, Le Mars, IA.

    • What is Financial Peace University?

    FPU is a 13-week, life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals. It is designed to empower people to manage their money better, eliminate debt, and build wealth using Biblically based principles.

    Who developed FPU?

    It was developed by Dave Ramsey, the noted (and entertaining!) radio personality who dispenses financial advice from a Christian perspective.

    It’s for EVERYONE from the financially secure to the financially distressed. Over 180,000 families and individuals have attended FPU at their workplace, church, military base, local nonprofit organization or community group.     How is FPU conducted?

    The series consists of two-hour classes; the first hour or so is a video presentation by Dave Ramsey on such topics as cash flow planning, dumping debt, saving, giving, and much more. The second hour is spent in small group accountability sessions designed to put the principles taught by Dave into action!

    When do classes start?

    A free preview will be held on Monday, March 3, at 6:30pm. The class will begin on Monday, March 10 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Childcare is available, but please call ahead (548-4430 or 548-4686) for planning purposes.

    What is the cost of the class?

    If you purchase your materials through Rejoice!, the discounted cost of the FPU Membership Kit is $80 (the regular retail price is $199).
